Thanks x2

I'm overdue in thanking one of my good friends Kristen who bestowed this fabulous Circle of Friends award on me. Kristen and I have been friends for over a decade now, ever since we pledge AOII together back in '98. She's definitely someone whose circle you want to be a part of.

Kristen also tagged me today in a fun little time killer.

What were you doing 10 years ago?

Let's see I was a 95 pound 18 year old with bad fashion sense and even worse bangs. I was living in the AOII sorority house and causing daily commotion with some of my most favorite people, whose friendship I paid a lot of money for. I was also still putting up with my loser ex-boyfriend who liked to leave ghetto love jams on my answer machine while simultanousely stalking a boy I went to high school with. Ah youth.

What are 5 things on your to-do list today?

  1. Stalk my photographer about when my engagement pictures will be ready (supposedly today)
  2. Figure out the room blocks for the wedding (done)
  3. Keep up with the pile of crap I call work while checking in on the lives of all my bloggie friends
  4. Try on my new boots that arrived (FINALLY)
  5. Spend some "quality time" (wink wink) with the boy after work (done)

Snacks you Enjoy?

  1. Chips a hoy cookies and milk
  2. Cheese
  3. Basically anything chocolate
  4. Pickles.... yes... Pickles

5 Places you have lived?

  1. Gaithersburg, MD aka G-burg...where I spent my formative years
  2. Greenville, NC aka G-Vegas...where I spent my debauchery college years
  3. Fairfax, VA ... where I spent my hot mess dating years
  4. Woodbridge, VA aka 'Hood'bridge...where I'm currently spending my in-love years

5 Things you would do if you were a billionaire?

  1. Pay off my God forsaken student loans
  2. Throw one helluva wedding followed by a month long honeymoon tour of all places tropical
  3. Throw a bit of money at my family and friends to help make their lives better
  4. Build a beautiful beach house in the Outerbanks so Kristian can spend his days fishing
  5. Donate some money to children and animal charities

I would like to pass on both the Circle of Friends award and the tag to:

Bananas
Alicia
Ela
April

I do miss the days of penny draft night and waking up with vomit in our hair. Le sigh.

Can't wait to see the pics!

Aw, thanks! I'm sure the engagement photos are beautiful and naueastingly romantic. I didn't know you were in Woodbridge now. I know a few people out that way, must be all cool and popular now that you live there.

Ghetto jams, LOL. Mmmm pickles! And oy to student loans. Mine weren't too bad - $24K when I graduated, I had $7 in the bank so that's where it went, then saved every bit of my paycheck to pay the rest off in 6 months. I paid it off before my first pay request came in the mail. I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off, it was also fun to call the loan office and say um...dude, I paid this off last month - don't send me anymore money requests, haha.

Thanks for the award, chickadie! Hope one day we can all sit in a circle, or not, and just chat IRL :) Heart you, lady!
