Since this weekend we will be celebrating the 4th of July with hopefully lots of good food, good friends/family, good booze and great fireworks I decided to skip ahead in my wedding recaps to our grand exit at the end of the night since it has something in common with this weekend's holiday...SPARKLERS!!
I've always loved the pictures of couples leaving their wedding down an aisle of sparklers. At first I didn't think this would be a possibility for us since sparklers are prohibited at our venue. However after talking with our venue coordinator and promising on the life of our unborn children that all the sticks would be picked up and we wouldn't cause any damage we were allowed to have our sparkler exit!! **Tip- it can't hurt to ask for things that may be against the rules. The worst they can do is say no.
As I mentioned before, Kristian initially thought a lot of my ideas were cheesy and/or lame and this is no exception...which I found odd considering he loves fireworks....or anything that has a potential danger to it. Well I pushed and we agreed to the sparkler exit and I'm so glad I did. I love the exit pictures we got and as you can see from the smiles on our guests faces I think they did as well.
I hope you enjoy the pictures below and that everyone has a VERY Happy 4th of July!!

Great pictures! I love sparkler exits, too, and am glad the venue agreed to let you do it. Happy Fourth!
I love the sparkler exit!
Love the sparklers! I kind of wanted to that, being New Year's Eve and all...but we didn't do a grand exit and I didn't think my guests would appreciate standing outside in the middle of winter!
The pictures turned out so pretty! Definitely worth it :)
You can never go wrong with the sparkler exit...these are amazing! I wish we had done something like this, but I knew we wouldn't do a grand exit. As a matter of fact, you'll see in a future recap that there was no one left to send us off! :)
And I agree...never hurts to ask for something! Glad you did.
Love it! Have a great 4th of July!
Aww very cute pics. My venue said no sparklers too so I haven't even asked to be sure. I will have to do that! I was thinking if we can't do sparklers maybe do the streamer sticks.
Love the sparkler exit!
And I have to say, I'm going with an all-white bouquet too and I LOVE how your pictures came out! I don't see the traditional all-white bouquet very often anymore, so thanks! :)
Awww, its soo perfect
We're doing this very same thing! I'm glad you posted pics. Now I'm excited because yours turned out so good!
