SWW

It's that time again.

Time to link up with Shannon for another So What Wednesday!

This week I'm saying So What if:

-I was more than willing to lose an hour of sleep over the weekend for extra daylight in the evenings. I can now actually play with my kid outside when I get home from work.

-When I called my inlaws on Saturday to wish them a Happy Anniversary (45 years!!) I told my MIL I hoped she would get lucky that night. She laughed hysterically. Kristian was grossed out.

-Instead of buying something fun with our tax refund I'm using the money to pay off our credit card.

-It was all I could do not to yell at the customer service person from FIOS this morning when I called to question the charges on my bill. If she doesn't understand the charges how the hell am I supposed to?

-We have no plans for St. Patrick's Day. It's really not a holiday that I make a big deal out of but I did buy Hunter a new shirt for it.

-I will probably eat all the candy/food I buy for Hunters Easter Basket. Candy isn't good for him anyways.

-95% of Hunters clothes come from Target, Old Navy and Walmart (yes WALMART!) I don't believe in spending a lot of money on baby clothes that he will outgrow in a couple months or stain.

-I'm very proud of the fact that I haven't been to Starbucks in a week. That hasn't happened since I was pregnant.

All of C's clothes are from the same stores PLUS Krogers. Yes, a grocery store. My Mom has a marketplace Krogers and they have children's clothing. They aren't always my favorite pieces but they are free. And like you said, he will grow out of them soon if not stain them up beforehand.

In my opinion, Old Navy makes THE CUTEST baby clothes ever. I would buy everything there if I could, but I mostly buy second hand. Wal-Mart has a ton of stuff that I love too, and their prices are great. I don't need to spend $20 on a tiny shirt that a baby will only wear a couple of times.
My taxes will mostly be going to both of our credit cards as well, sadly. I'd much rather go on a shopping spree but that's partly why I have to pay off my credit card in the first place.

95% of Laura's clothes are hand-me-downs still. So, when I do buy her clothes - usually bathing suits and holiday dresses - I spend a little more. That said, I do shop a lot at Old Navy and the occasional Gap Kids sale. They opened a Carter's by work and I love that store. Luckily (or not), Laura is almost too big for its stuff.

Ugh, I wish I could shop at Walmart because they have such good deals, but I just can't deal with the people and crowds there. That probably sounds incredibly stuck up and pretentious, but so what? And about your MIL- bahahahahaha. I hope she did too! After 45 years of marriage she deserves it. ;)

Alidia's wardrobe is almost entirely Old Navy because we always order online then have friends and family bring it down. Their sales are awesome!! That is great that you now have some time to play outside with Hunter after work! :) Enjoy!!
