SWW

Today is my first SWW of 2013 and after a couple week break I have a lot to say So What to!

So what if:

-We still have our tree up. We took off the decorations (except for the lights) so that's progress I guess.

-I'm completely exhausted from my "vacation" last week. Between Christmas and prepping for Hunters party I'm wiped. Work would have been more relaxing.

-I'm a bit excited to be back at work today. I love my child but staying home with him wears me out. Stay-at-home mom material I am not.

-I was in bed by 10pm on New Years Eve. Hunter was up bright and early at 6am ready for the day so I was glad I didn't stay up past midnight. Watching the ball drop ain't all the exciting to me.

-I'm very happy that most of the guests to Hunters party aren't on Pinterest or read blogs because I looked like a creative genius with my food and decorations.

-The amount of toys in my living room right now is causing me massive anxiety. I need some toy storage ASAP.

-I don't have any real New Years resolutions. I think they are pretty silly, if you want to change yourself just do it, don't wait until Jan 1st to do it. Too much pressure.

-I snickered at the news of Kim Kardashian being pregnant. 1. why would you willingly reproduce with Kanye West? 2. Could you really not wait until you're officially divorced from your husband of 72 days before getting knocked up by another douchebag? 3. Why to upstage poor Jessica Simpson.

Happy New Year!

- We also have our tree up. And decorated.
- I fell asleep at 9pm last night. SO TIRED.
- Also fell asleep before the ball dropped. You're not alone!
- And when Kim K. announced she was pregnant with Kanye's child, my first thought was WHO CARES? Followed by, REALLY?

I couldn't be a stay-at-home Mom either. It's so much more work than my actual job.
I laughed a bit at the part about Hunter's birthday. It was the same for Chloe. Some of the things I did seemed so original, but it was all Pinterest.

We keep our tree up until Epiphany (or the weekend after that). So, it will all come down this Saturday. There's always some time where I feel sad but then I realize how much extra room we have.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Even if it was a lot of work, your Instagram pictures from Hunter's party looked really awesome.

I can only imagine how exhausted it must have been with both Christmas AND a first birthday party so close together! It looks like you put a ton of work into Hunter's party too though. I am sure it feels good to have it behind you and know it was a special day. Hope your first day back at work goes well! :)
