Another round of Shannon's So What Wednesday!
Today I'm saying So What if:
-We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary Saturday night by going to dinner and a movie. It's not very creative but a few baby free hours together to just be a couple is priceless.
-The one cocktail I had at dinner gave me a buzz. I think I've had 4 alcoholic drinks in the past 13 months (all being after Hunter was born of course)
-My husband didn't remember it was our anniversary yesterday until I said something about it. He made up for it by buying me pretty roses and making me my favorite dinner.
-One of the main things I'm looking forward to about spending the holiday weekend at my inlaws beach house is that both my mom and MIL will be there to help watch Hunter so I can take a nap or three.
-I will probably spend the Target gift card I got for my birthday on baby clothes rather than clothes for myself.
-All the new recipes we try nowadays come from Pinterest despite having about 87 cookbooks in our house.
-I'm a walking zombie this week, I haven't gotten more than 3 consecutive hours of sleep the past 3 nights.

I always use gift cards for more practical things. Unfortunate but true.
Haha. I hope you get at least 3 naps. That sounds fantastic. I am 100% with you on the pinterest recipes!!!
Why do men NEVER remember these things? I swear Big A would forget his own birthday if I didn't remind him!
I will cop to never getting our anniversary correct. It's 10/10 and I have, since the day we got married and I misengraved something, thought it was 10/11. I have also forgotten the boy's birthday like 10 years in a row (which is only 8 days before mine, but mine overshadows his).
Our usual anniversary consists of dinner and a movie. Our 10th anniversary, we did go to a really nice restaurant though. With Laura's birthday right after our anniversary, we usually concentrate on that over celebrating, but we keep saying this year will be different (it never is).
Hope you get some much-needed and deserved rest this weekend!
I definitely hope you're able to get some rest over the holiday weekend! And that sounds like a great second anniversary date night. We'll probably do something along those lines, too, since we've had so much going on and no time to plan anything elaborate.
Only 3 hours of consecutive sleep...than this holiday weekend comes at a perfect time! Enjoy a nap or three lady love! You deserve it!
Awww.... Is Hunter teething. Things have been that way in our house two. Finally last night HM slept past 5am.
I love family vacations for the extra hands. I even have considering taking Nana on just our vacations for that reason.

Pretty much all the best things I've cooked lately have come from Pinterest. I dont know how I ever ate without it.
Sorry you've been lacking in the sleep department lately. I hope you get to take your nap (or three!) very soon.
my recipes have been coming from pinterest too lately, despite my having more than 100 cookbooks, for real!
Dinner and a movie sounds divine! I mean a movies is the ONE thing you absolutely cannot do with a child so YAY for you guys! And yay for getting tipsy ;-)
