Today is my 32nd birthday.

**cue the cheers and streamers

Normally I wouldn't find turning 32 particularly exciting but this birthday is special for a few reasons.

-My birthday falls on a Saturday this year. It's always more fun when you don't have to work or use a vacation day for your birthday.

-For the only time in my lifetime my birthdate and year match- 5/12/12

-I am now the same age my mother was when she had me.

I remember thinking that 32 sounded so old.

-Last year on my birthday I was about 7 weeks pregnant and felt so sick I was pretty miserable the whole day/night. It's nice not to have to worry about morning sickness this year.

-It's my first birthday as a mother.

-It falls on the same weekend as my first Mother's Day as a mother.

A whole weekend to celebrate ME! haha
