Wed-cap: Reception fun continues

When our guests weren't busy dancing or eating they were up and about drinking and mingling. Most of our guests preferred to spend a majority of their time out in the main hall closer to the bar. I didn't mind this at all, I wanted them to enjoy themselves and all the beverages we had purchased.

Despite all the alcohol consumption we still had a LOT of alcohol leftover that we were able to bring home. We had about 3 cases of wine left, a few cases of beer and 3 handles of Sweet Tea Vodka. I think we may have over-estimated but I would much rather have too much than too little. Based on the leftovers the Sweet Tea Vodka and the Miller Lite were the favorites amongst our crew.

Below are some of the pictures of our guests being social and having a great time with each other.

*Three of our groomsmen in the kids room of the venue right before we were all announced at the reception*

*This was taken closer to the end of the night. I think Adam (the one in the middle) might be a little intoxicated*

*My father in law and his grand-daughter aka my new niece*

*Isn't my mother in law pretty?*

*Kristian with his 2 favorite ladies*

*Kristian and with his best man Kevin and Kevin's family whom he's been close to his whole life*

*Kristian and his dad showing off their wedding rings*

*This picture of Kristian and Jason cracks me up. Jason has the best faces in all his pictures*

*With my bridesmaid Kelli. She was 5 1/2 months pregnant at the time and I think she was trying to show off her belly though it looks a little like she has to pee. haha*

*My 3 amazing day of coordinators who set everything up. I couldn't have pulled this wedding off without their help*

*Me and my mama*

*All of the guys in this picture including the two fathers were in the same fraternity at VA Tech*

*Me and my big brother*

*Kristian and his cousin Erin*

*Cheers*

*Showing off the new bling*

*My poor feet needed a break at the end of the night*

I love having so many great shots from our reception, especially since I was a bit in my own world, dancing and trying to talk to everyone, I wasn't able to really take in everything else going on around me. In the moment I kept wondering if people were having a good time and worried that people were bored or not having fun but seeing the pictures it's appears that wasn't the case.

You are hilarious by worrying about whether or not people were bored or having a good time. I love it! These photos show everyone smiling and happy as it should be. And who gives a rip if people are bored? It's not about them anyway!

I don't think we got a whole lot of photos of guests like this but I have a post coming up in a few weeks of all of the video messages that our videographer walked around and recorded from the guests while they were at their tables waiting for the grand entrance :)

Hello:)

Greetings and good wishes:)

Lovely photos of family, friends and the grand, memorable occasion. Every one enjoying the splendid get together to celebrate your lovely wedding. It looks like they had a wonderful time.

It reminded me of my own wedding 30 years back. The planning, arrangements, the worry to ensure that everything goes well can be nerve wracking.

Wish you and your handsome life partner all the best in the world-full of happiness and all success.

Have a wonderful day:)
Joseph

I did the same thing, worrying about whether people were bored at our wedding! Isn't it great to have photos to prove what we should have known at the time?

And yes, by the way, your mother in law is beautiful!
