Wed-cap: The couples

Most of the guests at our wedding were paired up and together with either a spouse or significant other which meant that when it came time for the slow dances most people were on the dance floor. Our photographer did a great job of documenting most of the couples that attended the wedding.

*My mother and father in law*

*My bridesmaid Kelli and her husband Keven*

*Kristian's uncle Stanley dancing with one of mother in law's single friends*

*Our pastor and his wife*

*Our reader Ashley aka Spanky and her husband Morgan*

*Kristian's buddy Adam and his date Skye*

*My sorority sister Michelle and her husband Erich*

*My bridesmaid Colleen and her boyfriend JD...I set them up about 3 years ago*

*I think this is such a fun picture of them*

*Ray and Jane who are my in-laws neighbors down at the beach. I think Kristian and I look cute dancing in the background*

*Michelle and Erich again...looks like Erich was having a good time!*

*One of the co-best men Bryan and his wife Melissa*

*Kristian's cousin Beth and her husband Beau*

*My college friend Emily and her husband Justin. I love how they coordinated with the green ensembles!*

*My old roommate Lauren and her boyfriend John. Lauren told me probably the funniest story I've heard from my wedding. Maybe I'll write about it one day if she lets me...hint...it involves alcohol of course*

*The bride and groom sharing a "special" moment*

I love having so many pictures of the other couples that were there to celebrate with us. There was so much love in that room, I couldn't ask for a better way to start off my marriage then surrounded by so many other happy couples.

Did/Will you have more couples or singles at your wedding?

We had a pretty even mix of couples and singles. The singles got along really well, and many of them knew each other, so our dance floor was also packed throughout the night. Great photos!

I absolutely love this. It's adorable seeing everyone so happy dancing together.

I'll probably have near the same amount of couples as single people at my wedding, but that'll be years from now anyway.

How cute! I think we had more couples than singles as well. And I missed your cake cutting post...loved the off centered squares and pop of color in the flowers. Gorgeous! I'm a sucker for wedding cakes!

Your photog was great. I love all these shots! (And the last one is hilarious!)

We had mostly singles at ours....but then we only had 15 people!

Oh how I adore that very last photo! Totally something Mr Fix It would do :) This is so great you have all these wonderful photos. We had mostly couples as well but our photog wasn't very good (or interested maybe) in getting shots like this. In fact, I was totally unimpressed with his dancing shots for sure. And I don't think there are really any at all of the slow dances and couples. :(

I love these pictures! Some of my favorite shots from our wedding were other couples dancing and you're right, it does fill the room up with lots of love!

We'll have a good mix of couples and singles. :) We're one of the first couples of our friends to get married but there will still be some who bring boy/girlfriends :)
