Yes that's right I said Snow Fail not Snow Fall. Seriously Mother Nature...did you not get the memo that VA is considered to be a southern state. WTF with all this snow? I'm over it.
Here's the thing, I don't dislike snow. It's pretty, it's fun, it's not something you see very often. However this winter Mother Nature has tried to kick the shit out of the DC area. In addition to the more than foot of snow we got right before Christmas, we've had several little mini storms in the past month. I don't mind snow if it gets me out of work but usually it doesn't. In fact we got about 4-5 inches last night and guess where I am right now....work.
As for this business of it snowing on the weekend...ummm...no thanks. I have shit to do. This wedding is fast approaching and I need my weekends to run errands and meet with people. Remember last week when I mentioned my hair trial that was suppose to be on Saturday...well that got reschedule due to the snow we got this past weekend. As of now it's suppose to be on the 13th (fingers crossed for no snow). This weekend we're suppose to take my mom (who lives an hour away) out to lunch for her birthday but yet again they are calling for a massive snowstorm so that probably won't happen. The birthday lunch has also been tentatively rescheduled for the 13th along with my first dress fitting. Basically if it snows on the 13th then F.M.L.
I'm suppose to be going down to ECU at the end of the month for our sororities 50th Anniversary. I'll have the chance to see a lot of girls I haven't seen in YEARS and by God if it snows Mother Nature and I will have words. Ugly 4 letter words. I'm ready for winter to GTFO and to welcome in the spring.

Oh boo :(
It's tough when snow ruins your plans.
Lucky for me I've had enough training living in Toronto, LOL.
Hoping the snow fairy skips you those days, hon!
ha ha ha ....... Va Bch is a complete mess! =) I know you all are use to the snow, but we here at the beach haven't seen snow since like 10 years ago!
Everyone keeps talking about the "snow" this weekend... they are only calling for rain here.. we aren't that lucky to get it here twice in two weeks!
So I will do my little snow dance and pray for snow here.... and not there! =)
P.S. majority of the time this dance does not work!
i hear you, doll! i totally hear you! i hope the weather gods do too!
xo
Oh man...that is exactly why i live on the west coast. I could never handle constant snow storms.
Sorry hun. I will send good weather vibes your way.
Florida doesn't have snow... I'm just sayin.
I just had this EXACT conversation with someone at work. WHAT THE FRENCH, TOAST?!?!?!?!?
Story of my life. Because yes, there is a lot of snow in Canada. All winter. But it does mean snow days from university classes sometimes, which is sweet.
Like miss fancy pants, we are stuck in snow from November to April.
I feel the exact same way about snow - it always gets in the way! It's pretty and all but only if you have nowhere to go.
i am so not a snow person...and trekking around dc last weekend didn't help the matter. hopefully it misses you this wkend!
I don't know how you gals do it living in the snow. As a So Cal gal, I get irritated with the rain that falls here. I couldn't ever imagine dealing with snow! UGH!
