New Tricks

Look who learned a new trick this weekend....

Yep my little man taught himself how to roll over from his tummy to his back!! We discovered this when we went to pick him up from my in-laws house on Saturday. I put him on his belly to show my MIL how good he is at holding his head up and he rolled over!! Thinking it was a fluke we tried again and once again he rolled over.

On Sunday we got him on video doing it. The video also shows him standing (with some help of course). Hunter has really strong legs and has from the beginning and loves to try to stand. We were calling this his "stop, drop and roll"

Before he only rolled onto his right side but last night he rolled onto his leftside twice as well!

I swear he will be walking next week at this rate!

Way to go, Hunter! :) It looks like Moxie definitely enjoyed sharing in the excitement, too. Your little boy is too cute.

Congrats, Hunter!

I remember when Laura began rolling. It's a good way to realize how much is on your floor! :) Also, we realized that the floor blanket was really a guide for babies to roll anywhere but ON the clean blanket. Laura used to get startled when she rolled in her crib though. She'd go to sleep on her back and freak out if she woke up on her tummy.

Aww go Hunter! Chloe can do the roll from belly to back, but sometimes she will just stay on her belly. She doesn't even try to roll from her back to her belly. But I think she may soon be sitting! But Hunter.. I think you're right and he might be a pretty early walker. It's all fun and games until they can walk. Then it just gets crazy.

Oh my goodness, I've been away from your blog for so long! Can't believe your little one is finally here! He's adorable. Congratulations. I remember when my Little Miss (now 17!!!) was first learning to roll over and all that fun stuff. It goes by so fast. Enjoy every precious moment.

Reading part 1 of your birth story really brought some hard core memories flooding back to me about Little Miss's delivery. I can relate to a lot of what you went through. But it's too much to type out here. If you get some free time, drop me an e-mail and I'll share a little more :) Glad everything worked out in the end. Hope you are well! Can't believe we're almost up to the 2 year anniversary mark!

Wow that's awesome. Doesn't it feel like they are growing too fast? I want to know why she wants to stand already... i'm not ready for this. I want time to slow down so i can really enjoy every second!
