Love Video

This year Kristian and I made and agreement not to spend too much money on each other for Christmas. I'm trying to follow this agreement though I suspect he's going to think I spent too much on him regardless. Oh well, I love him and I like to spoil the people I love.

Last year one of the gifts I gave him was a photobook with all the pictures we had to that point. He loved it and even though he'll deny it, he even got teary eyed looking through it. So this year one of the gifts I decided to get him was along the same lines as the photobook.

I created an account on Smilebox and was able to make a photo slideshow set to music which I burned onto a DVD. I actually got the idea from his dad who has done this with photos from their fishing trips. I included pictures from this year including the night we got engaged, our Jamaica trip, our engagement party and our engagement photos.

Here is the video which I burned onto a DVD for him. I can't wait to give it to him!

**Note it's about 8 minutes long
**The second song is the one I'm hoping to use for our first dance at the wedding

Awesome video! I love that idea, and might look into it, since we’re trying to save on gifts this year, too. Thanks for sharing!

That is such a sweet idea. He's going to LOVE it. You're a great wifey already! ;)

I'm guessing kristian doesn't read your blog since you posted his gift. Haha.

Oh, so cute. How sweet. He'll love it I'm sure. I have done many a thing like this for family and friends as video editing is a hobby of mine so I truly appreciate this :) What's the name and artist of that first song? I keep hearing it and don't know what it is! Love it.

I love that second song - Low Millions, right? It's one of my favorite albums.

That's an awesome idea! I totally see myself taking advantage of that eventually. I'd love to do that with the zillions of wedding pictures seeing as our wedding is on VHS and we don't own a VHS player anymore. :)

I love it! He'll go crazy for it, I just know. Thanks for sharing, hon!

I loved every bit of it - except when I saw the "bunny"...my smile totes disappeared and I'm pretty sure my heart skipped a beat, LOL.

Was that a sea urchin???
