Fist Pumping like Champs

-Friday night, came home and laid on the couch catching up on DVR including the new show "Jersey Shore" on MTV which is an absolute trash-tastic train wreck about "Guido's and Guidettes" and I loved every second of it. Sure I lost a few brain cells but it was worth it. After all where else would I have learned that the best thing to eat when drunk is ham and water??

-Saturday I was awoken at 9am to Kristian coming home from hunting (he left at 5am) bearing breakfast from Chick-Fil-A and a Gingerbread Latte for me. I have him trained well ;-) I spent the day laying in the massage chair watching the first snowfall of the season while my ECU Pirates won their 2nd Consecutive Conference USA Championship Titles!!!!

-Sunday went and picked up my wedding dress!!! I loved it even more than when I ordered it back in July. In fact one part of the dress I planned to change I decided I liked after all. I guess when it's not a sample that's been worn a lot and is actually in your size it changes your perspective. It doesn't need too much altering other than some hemming and adjusting the top to account for my lack of boobage. My mom also picked up her dress and she looks so elegant and classy. The best part was she surprised me by paying half of the balance that I still owed on the dress which was awesome of her!

Sunday night we had Kristian's parents over for dinner. It was the first time his mom had been over since I moved in and got a chance to see all the changes we've made as well as all the Christmas decorations we've put up. They both were very impressed with the place and loved being able to just sit there and not have to do anything while we got all the food ready. Kristian made an awesome pot roast and I made some strawberry shortcakes for dessert. I think they got a kick out of seeing how domestic their son has become and even said that they can just feel the love in our house. Awww

**Special shout out to the uber stylish Summer and her son who picked me as the winner in her awesome Giveaway courtesy of her sisters Etsy store. I can't wait to receive this bad boy to hang in the house. Thanks Summer!

Sounds like a heavenly weekend to me...I would change the show and the football game to an NFL one but the rest I am totally on board with. How fun to have your little dinner...you will indeed have many wonderful days like this in the years ahead. And score on the help with the dress cost! My mom paid 2/3 of my gown cost to help me out since I went well over what I had budgeted and she wanted me to have the dress. :)

I didn't want to give into the "Jersey Shore" mania. But Saturday night rolled around and I had nothing to do and it was on. Good God, I'm so glad I caught it!! Its like a train wreck...I just can't stop watching. Seriously, best thing on (after Glee). Its so bad, its good!! My favorite part was when the one girl was talking about how much the job at the t-shirt place sucks and she was like "I mean, I'm a bartender, I make good things happen." AHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!!!

And how exciting is it to get your dress!!! YAY!! I have yet to pick one out so I'll be waiting to get it for awhile, but I can imagine!!

I cannot get enough of Jersey Shore. Any show that has a dude that calls himself "the situation" has my approval. Ah ha ha ha

I heard this show has been losing sponsors like crazy and is being boycotted or having all kinds of problems...interesting :)
