Updates

A few quick updates for anyone wondering what's going on in my world:

-Our kitchen renovation is basically DONE. With the exception of a few cosmetic touchups it's finished and we LOVE it. We've been able to actually use it since this past weekend. Once the few additions are done I'll post pictures.

-Our half bathroom renovation is almost done, hopefully by tomorrow. And we love that as well. I'm not 100% in love with the color our contractor picked out but it's pretty and I'm fine with it for now.

-Hunter got bit for the THIRD time at daycare yesterday. And even though I'm not supposed to know who did it I do know who the boy is that bit him the past two times. I also know that little boy is now being shadowed to see if they can figure out why he's biting. Fortunately Hunter is fine.

-I've been dealing with some bad stomach issues the past few days. Just really bad pains (and no I'm not pregnant!). I went to the doctor and he thinks it's either Gastritis and I'm now on medication for that. Or it could be my gall bladder. I'm going next week for an ultrasound of my gall bladder. My mother had to have hers removed a few years ago and this can be hereditary. Two of my coworkers also had to have theirs removed not long after they gave birth and my symptoms are very similar to one of them in particular so I'm a little stressed about that.

-Work is insane right now. It's insane every year right before Thanksgiving. I will be very happy when 1pm next Wednesday comes.

-I haven't even started Christmas shopping and really have no idea what to get anyone.

Gall bladder surgery? Goo! Hope thats not in your near future!

Rob had gall bladder surgery last year, and both his parents had gall bladder issues. He went awhile without the surgery and changed up the diet so if you need to do so and need some recommendations, let me know. I hope it's nothing or goes away or at least gets resolved quickly!

Money seems to be more of an issue than usual so I haven't done any Christmas shopping and have no idea what to get. I'm so not motivated this year at all. I'm usually much further along by this point. In my defense, Thanksgiving is freakishly early.

Yay!! So exciting that the renovations are so close to being finished. Can't wait to see photos! :)

Oh no, poor Hunter and the bites. Is it an older boy? Are they bad? Alidia is a biter right now so I feel bad that she would probably be that kid at daycare!!! Ahh. I think it is due to teething in her case. Although sometimes she just does it and laughs! :/ Naughty girl. Hope this little boy stops biting Hunter though!

Hope your tummy starts feeling better.

Honestly it kinda sounds eerily familiar to what I went through right before I had my gallbladder removed! The surgery isn't too bad. I know recovery is different for everybody... Doc said oh you will be fine the next day... WRONG! Took me at least a week to feel better BUT the good news is that once all that is over with you really do feel like a new person ;) It was hereditary in my family, too. Boo for Hunter getting bit... poor little guy!!!

I have had HORRIBLE unbearable stomach pains as well lately. Although, I never have given birth or been pregnant, I have been to the doctor and I just left frustrated and 'diagnosed' (I use that lightly just because they don't know what else it is) with IBS. Ugh! I feel your pain-literally and it's no fun! I hope you get better medical answers than I did.

I can't wait to see all the kitchen and bathroom pictures!! The few you've posted on IG are gorgeous!

There was a biter in Jamie's class that got him 3 times too. They did a pretty good job of keeping it a secret who it was. I would grill Jamie everytime to try and figure it out! LOL
