Halloween 2012- Burgers and Hot Dogs

For Hunters first Halloween we decided to dress him up as a hamburger, which seemed quite fitting considering how much this kid loves to eat. I found a cute costume on Old Navy's site for like $15. Sold!

He's so cute I could just eat him up.

Since Hunter was a hamburger it was only fitting that our wiener dog was a hot dog for Halloween. Costume courtesy of Amazon.

Trying to get these two to pose for a picture is pretty much impossible. Here's the best we could do.

Last night we sat on the front step for a while handing out candy. Hunter was the official Halloween greeter.

We took him to a few of our neighbors houses so that we he could get candy and show off his costume. He loved every minute of it.

He also got to wear his costume yesterday afternoon at daycare and it was a hit with all the teachers. Earlier in the day he had his first school pictures taken (it was a busy day for the little man).

Here are the proofs. I think I'm going to order the first one.

I kinda wish his teacher had fixed his hair a bit as well as his collar that is sticking up. But at least we got some cute smiles out of him. Also, I think it's time for a haircut, he's starting to look like a hippie.

First of all I LOVE his costume! Second, that stinks that they didn't fix his hair and clothes. We always did when I worked in Day care

Love the Hunter and Moxy matching costumes!! Super cute! His school photos are adorable as well. A shame the teachers didn't fix his hair and collar but he still looks great! :)

How cute are those costumes!

And Hunter's hair reminds me of Jamie's at that age. I look back now and wonder how I let it get so crazy, but I just wasn't ready to cut it! Besides, those baby wisps are adorable!

It's nice that you get photos! We traditionally wait until after a year to get the hair cut. I don't know where it started, but I know many who have that tradition. Laura was fine, but my nephew had it rough. Plus, with a boy, once you start getting it cut, it needs to be done monthly (unless you take the cutters to it at home). I've gotten Laura's done twice which is the joy of having a girl.

I got Laura's costumes from Old Navy until they stopped carrying them in her size (for at least the first 3 Halloweens). They're great, warm and cheap. I take that back. I got 1 or 2 there. The first one I bought when she was days old in a 12 months from Disney Store. It was on super clearance for less than $10 with shipping. Luckily, it was only a little big the following year. That's the earliest I've ever bought anything. Second kid will also be Piglet.

Great photos! I wish they did that for Chloe. You would think they would've fixed him up though before taking the pictures.
I love the burger costume. I looked at it last year wishing I had a boy to wear it. My little girl just doesn't seem like the burger type.
