SWW

Another Wednesday means another round of So What Wednesday!

This week I'm saying So What if:

-I bought us all new outfits for family pictures this weekend. I think it's an occasion that calls for new clothes.

-I let my followers on Insta-gram help me decide on which outfit to wear for family pictures.

-We bought one of Hunters Christmas gifts at a yard sale last week. A bag of stacking blocks for $2? Can't say no to that.

-I'm probably not buying my husband an official birthday gift this month. I let him spend a very large sum of money recently on an item he's been wanting for a long time so that is partly his birthday gift...and Christmas and Anniversary gift :)

-I'm IN LOVE with our new stainless steel, two door with freezer on the bottom refrigerator. Now we just need for our contractor to actually start the kitchen renovation so that our new appliances aren't sitting in our dining room.

-I'm torn between going all out for Hunters first birthday and just doing something really small and simple to save money. It's not like he's going to remember it or care anyway. Let's be honest a 1st birthday party is just as much for the parents (if not more) than the baby.

I feel like you are an extension of my thoughts. I am struggling with a gift for James for his birthday. I want do something for him but I don't know when we will be having a baby so I'm a bit torn. And about 1st birthdays? I'm going to make Connor's something small, I think. I've been to some over the top 1st birthdays and I don't see the point. Yes, they are great and every one has a good time but the birthday girl or boy?? They could usually care less!

Ha I probably won't even get Miss P much of anything for Christmas this year... she won't remember it anyways right? But good lord you sound like me I would never say no to a good bargain! HOLLA... and I also agree on the first birthday thing!

I love yard sale shopping. I wish it was still the season because I'd buy tons of Chloe's presents that way.
I wanted to go all out for Chloe's first birthday but saved some of my better ideas for later parties, when people will actually notice and care.

I've started thinking about Savannah's first birthday party also. I think we are just going to do something with fmaily and a few friends at our house. And I don't plan on going crazy on gifts for her birthday or Christmas. I feel like I've been buying her things here and there for awhile and she has tons!

I'm sure both Kristian and Hunter will be happy with the gifts.

Be careful with the bottom drawer freezer. My nephew used to help himself to all sorts of things when he was younger. It's the perfect size for toddlers to open, crawl into, and stand on.
