SWW

Linking up with Shannon again for another So What Wednesday!

So what if:

-My favorite part of fall is having all my favorite t.v. shows back with new episodes.

-I bought Hunter a Halloween costume just so we can have pictures of him in one, we may take him to one or two neighbors houses that we know but he won't be actually trick or treating.

-I dread Saturdays a little bit since Kristian is usually out hunting all day and watching Hunter by myself all day is exhausting. I don't know how you stay at home moms do it!

-I'm stressing about all the money we will be spending over the next few months for Christmas and Hunters 1st birthday.

-I was thrilled that Kristian got some nice and expensive hand me downs from his sisters boyfriend over the weekend. He has desperately needed some new clothes and his sisters bf just so happens to be the same exact size and needing to get rid of some stuff.

<3 Fall TV - and amen on Christmas stress. These kids would be perfectly happy with a toy and the paper to play with. Mom guilt gets the better of me every time!

Hunter's birthday is much closer to Christmas than what Connor's will be BUT James' birthday is 10.24 and mine is 11.1 so we are going to be the family that has 3 birthdays within a week of so of each other. And Christmas? I have no clue what I should do for the little one. He will maybe be all of 2 months old at Christmas so I have no clue what to buy him but of course, it's his FIRST Christmas so I feel like I need to make it special.

Love all the new fall TV shows on now! Can't wait to see Hunter's little costume for Halloween. Ugg..yes, Christmas and birthdays close together are tough. We are going to try to do ours as low cost as possible, but we'll see.

Ugh I hear ya on Christmas stress - even though mine is my own doing: we are going on a cruise and come back three days before Christmas! EEEK! :)

Our spending season starts with Halloween which is Laura's birthday and then we have Christmas and we're hosting Thanksgiving this year.

Because Laura has an older cousin, she's gone trick or treating since she was a year old. She just never got any of the candy. *g*

I spend a lot of my weekend with Laura while Rob watches football, but he watches her during the week when I go out. I don't mind weekend duty because she sleeps until 8:30 a lot and also takes naps during which I take a nap. We sit down and divide the time pretty evenly so I'm grateful for that, but I could never be a SAHM.

Sometimes I think we are a shared soul!

So I also bought Savannah a Halloween costume even though she won’t be able to trick-or-treat yet. I am obsessed with Fall TV and often use my pump breaks at work to watch shows on the iPad. Occasionally my husband has to work over the weekend or he plays soccer and I end up with Savannah all day and I’m worn out!!!! This is no joke.

And the stress of paying for Christmas and her 1st birthday party is already hitting me. I love Savannah to death but hate that she’s a Christmas baby.

I do the same thing with Halloween costumes. They are just for pics. PS- did you know you're a no-reply commenter?

I got a costume last year just for pictures too. I can't wait until trick or treating time actually comes though.
Being a stay at home (single) mom isn't that tricky. You just get used to it because you have to. If I had the help early on, I don't know how I'd adjust to life without out. Luckily, I'm adjusting to life WITH help now.

The only reason I want to get my son a Halloween costume this year is strictly for the pictures. I am just not that into Halloween...maybe when he gets older I will be???

Stopping by from the So What Wednesday link up :)
