It's a Girl!!!

No, not the baby...well I guess the baby could be a girl but we won't know that for a few more weeks.

No, our even NEWER little addition is a girl.

Full Name- Moxie Crimefighter

Nickname- Moxie the Doxie

We got her yesterday and she's as sweet as can be. We were both worried that she would be up all night crying and whimpering but she did awesome! Only whimpered when she needed to go out at 12:30am and 3:30am (which Kristian did) and she doesn't seem to be too scared of the cats. The cats are a different story. Halpert is still trying to figure out what the hell this little thing is and when it will be leaving.

Yes I realize that getting a puppy 6 months before I have a baby is probably not the best timing but before we bought the house I promised Kristian we could get a dog when we moved, obviously not realizing I would get pregnant right away. So there was no way I could tell him he now had to wait another year or more to get a puppy. Hopefully by the time the baby comes Moxie will be fully trained and ready to be a big sister.

Sidenote- regarding her name, Moxie Crimefighter, we actually found that in a baby name book Kristian bought me for my birthday. There was a section about what some celebrities have named their children and Penn Jillette of the duo Penn and Teller named his daughter (an actual human child) Moxie Crimefighter Jillette. I thought it was funny and immediately said that's what we should name our future dog and he agreed! Now if only naming the baby were that easy.
