Happy Wednesday!
Linking up with Shannon for this week's So What Wednesday!
This week I'm saying SO What if:
-I took off work the day before I leave and day after I come home from vacation. I need the extra time to pack and get ready beforehand and our flight doesn't even get in until 9:30pm, no way will I be able to get up for work the next morning when I probably won't get home til close to midnight.
-I still don't understand how I actually have a credit for overpayment at daycare. I can almost guarantee that I've never paid over the amount or made an extra payment one week but if that's what they have in their system (which means I don't have to pay this week) I'm not gonna argue it.
-I'm counting down the minutes hours until the end of work today, it's my last day before vacation.
-On my first solo trip with Hunter to the pool on Sunday he hurt himself by falling on the pool deck and scrapping up his hand. I panicked for a quick second than was able to calm him, pack up our crap, change him out of his wet bathing suit and get him into the car all by myself. With that said I probably won't be taking him solo to the pool again this season.
-I had to restrain myself from yelling at the little boy that was hitting Hunter with a lego this morning at daycare. Hunter started crying and I went over to comfort him while putting myself between me and the other little kid. The teacher came to discipline the kid but it was hard for me not to do it. Punk.
-Anytime the t.v. was on this past weekend I was watching the DVR'd episodes of This Hills from last week. I literally watched 25 episodes over two days. Also, Kristian has decided he would be friends with Brody because he seems like a fun guy to hang out with.
-Part of me wants to spend one whole day of vacation just laying in bed and sleeping. I won't. But it's sure tempting.

That's a good idea to take those extra days off. You will be glad you did!
You're smart to take those days off so that you have less stress before and after your trip. I hope you guys have a great time!
smart move -- i always take a few days off before and after vacation!

I love me some Brody.
And a little laziness on vacation does a Mommy good.
totally smart to take off days around vacation too. i normally do it when i can. those days are essentially your vacation from your vacation! :)
Tell Kristian to watch this season of Keeping Up With The Kardiashians. Brody is so brooding and whiny!! (So what if I not only watch but have strong feelings about this show.)
I went into work late yesterday and watched The Hills all morning! I miss those shows!
Taking off the day before and after your actual "vacation" is genius! I always wish I'd have done that on my way home from vacay! Have a great time!!
Definitely a great idea to take the day before and after vacation off!! I always find I need that too. Especially on the return. So much to unpack and regroup before getting back into the swing of things.
Have such an awesome vacation!!! :)
