Still pregnant.
Still uncomfortable.
I think little man is planning to stick this out until the bitter end which would be ironic considering basically everybody, including myself, was convinced he would come early.
I have my 39 week appointment this afternoon so we'll see if any progress has been made. I'm not too optimistic and at this point I'm hoping he'll hold off until after Christmas this weekend anyway.
This past weekend I really did a whole lot of nothing. We went out to dinner Friday night for what is probably our last date night for a while and were in bed by 8:30pm. Yeah we're party animals huh?
Other than that I laid around the house and tried to enjoy my last weekend of pure laziness. Assuming he doesn't come in the next few days we'll be pretty busy this weekend with family celebrating Christmas.
**Funny story from dinner on Friday-- I went to the bathroom (I basically live in the bathroom nowadays) and there was a woman in there with her young son and daughter. I estimate the son to be around 4 years old. After I went into the stall I heard the little boy ask his mom "Mommy why is that lady so fat?" and her response "She's not fat, she has a baby in her belly". So yeah. That's where I'm at right now, out of the mouths of babes!

lol cute story about the little kid.. but they do say the silliest things, and have no filter so don't take it to heart! You look adorable, even in these last stages of pregnancy! :)
Glad you're doing well, sorry you're uncomfortable though. He'll be here soon! So exciting!
OMG that's too funny. Kids say the funniest shit.
Almost there friend!
Oof. I'll be thinking of you, for real! Those last days of pregnancy are tough. You never know, he may surprise you!
Oh my gosh, the things kids say! He's still got a few days before Christmas, so maybe he'll surprise you as an early present.
Michelle and I were just saying how we hadn't heard anything. We've been thinking of you.
Good luck!
Hey at least it was a kid that called your "fat". At the mall this weekend TWO lades (older than me) both commented as they walked right past me "Man she's huge".
HAHAHAHA Kids are too hang in there.... almost done!
AHHHHH! Kids say the darndest things! Praying for you!
If I had to give you one word of advice before the baby comes, I say get out of the house baby-free and savor it. Any trip outside of the house for me is now rushed and I miss being able to take my time when grocery shopping or anything.
But other than that... you're almost there. I keep expecting your next post to be a birth announcement. I look forward to it :)
Oh kids! Too funny. I am so sorry you are so uncomfortable! I hope the little man decides to come out and join the party soon!
LOLOL awww that's so cute about what that kid said..but I'm sure in your tired, over-emotional state it wasn't as funny as it could be. I'm still checking here all the time because I'm so excited for you! Carrying the full term is for the best, looking forward to hearing what the doctor had to say. Christmas babies are the best! I was born on Dec. 30th so I should know ;)
