I love how you and K's dad cut in and danced as couples.

I've always dreamed of dancing with my dad at my wedding, and I intend to, if he'll agree to it! Our song will be "Moon River" (haven't figured out which version I want yet) since he used to sing that to me when I was little, before bedtime.

I would like to have a Mother/Son dance too, but neither my boyfriend or his mother are big into dancing or attention, so I guess that will be up to them.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12809397616829044745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2205981882039279640.post-43412657726304626722010-07-19T14:45:26.688-04:002010-07-19T14:45:26.688-04:00love the hi-5!love the hi-5!Summer Athenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10939539950520941901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2205981882039279640.post-66039204897885181492010-07-19T13:50:50.763-04:002010-07-19T13:50:50.763-04:00I love this! I think it was less about the awkwardness and more that he didn't want to be left out! It was cute and I loved being out there with them!Sara McCartyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04942635767083902005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2205981882039279640.post-10783314034948145632010-07-19T13:07:49.011-04:002010-07-19T13:07:49.011-04:00I love the pictures of all 4 of you!! We had the dads do the 2 readings at the church. My dad picked a Phil Collins song. I think from Tarzan? From some Disney movie. We tease him for liking Phil Collins (and Disney for that matter). You'll be in My Heart.

Rob and his mom danced to Celine Dion's song. Darned if I remember the title. One of the few that don't make me hurl though. The one from that Michelle Pfeiffer/Robert Redford movie. Because You Loved Me? Is that one of hers? Something like that, I think.

It was fun. As I mentioned, my dad did ballroom dancing so he gave me pointers. I still stepped on his toes. Then, I was made because he counted off for me when we practiced and then didn't that night. So, I made him count and then I missed my cue to twirl and we had to do it again. Fun times though. Sometimes, I feel like my mom takes all the time and space when we all get together so it was nice to have a moment with my dad (because both my parents walked me down the aisle, he didn't get that moment).princessaprhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17661275728902254769noreply@blogger.com
